Ogni "Città alpina dell'anno" nomina un/una Coordinatore. I Coordinatori sono competenti dell'attuazione del concetto di "Città alpina" nella propria città, nonché della collaborazione reciproca tra le Città alpine. Essi lavorano in stretto contatto con il segretariato e partecipano all'Assemblea dei soci.
